If only they could go back.

George Atkins, a successful twenty-six year old architect living in South London whose whole life changes in a split second. He relocates to a sleepy village in Dorset where he makes new friends and tries to build a new life.

Some of the people he meets along the way affect his life in a way he could never have imagined. One of whom, the organist at the village Church, sends him on a journey to rescue a local woman. He becomes embroiled in family feuds and underhand dealings. He meets a woman and falls in love, then discovers her mother had disappeared two years previously, and so he sets off on a journey to find her.

Then the discovery of ruins of an old abbey on the edge of the village, leads him to discover some illegal practices being planned by a multinational corporation who want to build a factory on local farmland.
